Hydrotherapy

An example of a recent project to produce a hydrotherapy therapy for those with long term brain injury and dementia.  Unfortunately, this is unlikely to get built, but was a very rewarding design process.  The design seeked to create an "outbuildign aesthtic" whilst announcing it's presence to the wider site.  Did it work? I like to think so, Sympathic materials are fundemental to how this design aims to sit within its immediate environment, allowing users to catch glimpses of the landscape while undergoing therapy.

Final Submission - Well recieved

form investigation

the form investigation has used both physical & 3d models to date. The form focuses on engageing users of the square, closing off the sqaure. The facades will attempt to translate de-materialism, whilst the form will make a link to the industrial history, which heavily influenced the schools benefactors.

following positive feedback about the location & site for my thesis, I've started to look at a design response
